We're excited to share that Property and Garden Maintenance Group (PGMG) is now part of the Genshare Network, joining our landscaping group alongside Barings Landscape and Maintenance.
PGMG is a Victoria-wide property care and landscaping business offering end-to-end services including landscape design, landscape construction including, hard and soft landscaping, irrigation, and all aspects of ongoing maintenance. PGMG caters to volume builders, premium and high-end developments, homeowners and renovators. They handle everything from project management, trade sourcing, painting and repairs, pre and post house sale, rental clean-ups and fencing.
PGMG is led by Chris Defina and Scott Maxwell. Their track record as exceptional operators is what drew us to them. Chris, General Manager of PGMG and leader of Genshare’s landscaping group, boasts a history of scaling landscaping and horticulture businesses. He held various roles with SCA Hygiene Australasia, with his last role being involved in the Healthcare division. before being appointed General Manager of Flemings Landscapes business, where he oversaw a team to more than 80 landscapers, maintenance crews and landscape designers. Scott Maxwell brings 30 years in landscaping and deep horticultural, construction and design expertise. Scott holds an Advanced Diploma in Horticulture and Design, and owned Max’d Out Landscape Design from 2010 to 2020, before moving to Flemings Landscapes in 2020.
With PGMG joining Barings Landscape and Maintenance in the network, Genshare has substantial depth in landscaping and horticulture. With two established businesses, two experienced leadership teams, and shared capability across design, construction and maintenance, the expansion of the landscape group gives both businesses a wider trade and customer network, a deeper pool of expertise, and the scale to take on projects beyond the reach of a single operator.
